Ioannis Th. Natsiopoulos was born in 1966 in Grevena. He graduated from the Medical School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 1990. He was trained in Surgery at various Hospitals in Thessaloniki (THEAGENEIO ANTICANCER HOSPITAL OF THESSALONIKI, "G. PAPANIKOLAOU" GENERAL HOSPITAL OF THESSALONIKI) and he obtained his Specialty in Surgery in 1999 after passing the relevant examinations.
After obtaining his Specialty in Surgery, he worked as a fellow doctor and specialized in Breast Surgery and Oncoplastic Surgery in specialized medical centers in Germany (Interdisciplinary Breast Center, City Hospital Dusseldorf) and Italy (Fondazione Salvatore Maugeri, Pavia).
From 2001 to 2006 he worked as a Specialist Registrar Surgeon of the Greek NHS in the General Hospital of Katerini and from 2006 to 2008 as a Breast Surgeon in "PAPAGEORGIOU" Hospital of Thessaloniki. Since 2008 he has had his own private practice; at the same time he performs surgical procedures at the European Interbalcan Medical Center.
He has attended many medical conferences and training seminars.
He has carried out, published and presented a multitude of scientific papers on oncology and breast surgery.
He is a member of the Hellenic Breast Surgeons' Society (EXEM) and the European Society of Breast Cancer Specialists (EUSOMA).
He is Fellow of European Board of Surgery Qualification in Breast Surgery.
